Your explanation was great, me trying to understand it is a different story!!
The parts I used came from Radio Shack and ran about $10.00
Power Supply = 9volt battery
Relay = 7-9volt 12amp rated @ 24vdc
Mini Buzzer = 12vdc 75db (not load enough, will change out)
Very simple, but very effective. I will mount my alarm right next to my computer so I can hear it at all times.
