morning everyone. I wanted to see if anyone could lend a hand and give me some ideas. I want to build 2 units to store up to 10 lor controllers in. now I have a very small yard and I have even less storage after season. it needs to be light, easy to move. I was thinking of a box that would opens on both the front and back sides and make it to fit 5 controllers each side, but now I'm seeing weight is coming into play so, maybe small unit holds less controllers, wheels. I'm sure many of us have made these before, could anyone share ideas or show photos, I'm kind of stuck and what to here the pros and con's and what has worked well.

Thanks every one....:)

P.S.... I'd love to go to Light up Ohio, but I just cant afford it nor get the time off. anyone doing a NJ one any time soon?

I just use 30 Gal Totes from Lowes...under $8 each. Even cheaper after Christmas.

You can fit about 4 LOR Controllers in each...also great for all the lights.

Like you said, if you make/buy something to large, the weight makes it very difficult to move.

EDIT:

Or did you mean more like building a shed to put everything in?

Ralph,

I believe Randy made something like what you are thinking about

here is a link http://www.belardolights.com/controller_cart.html

I tried something like that a few years ago but realized it was a pain to move and most of the year got in my way, I abanoned the idea and do something similar to what jimswinder wrote. I put the tote in my kids wagon and haul it around the yard works great and stores neatly

also here is the link to the post on the NJ mini http://lightorama.mywowbb.com/forum81/21682.html
