If you have a 360 degree tree, then choose the Spiral effect with *2* colors (or 1 color with Palette Repeat set at 2). Then try adjusting the Thickness parameter to a small value.

sorry I was at work so I couldnt try it but I just did and I only saw two spirals both going the same direction.

sorry I thought a double helix was two spiral spinning the opposite direction..The above works thanks again
