rayv Posted September 8, 2007 Share Posted September 8, 2007 I have version 1.6.3 loaded on my laptop and running OK and the latest version of the hardware utility. The operatating system is Vista Home Premimum. I ordered the USB to Serial adapter, I already had the SC485 to RJ45 adapter. I hooked up the SC485 to the USB/serial adapter and then to the USB port on the laptop. Is this correct hookup configeration? I ran the Hardware utility to locate the port and controller, NO luck!! The driver disk that came with the USB/serial adapter did not have the dirver for Vista, Went on line and downloaded what I think was the correct driver for Vista, still unable to communicate with the controller.Any help or suggestions would Help!ThanksRay V Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
