Anyone know how to shut the music off when the shows are running without losing the capability of still using the sound card for other computer stuff? example if i shut off wave then i cant hear the show music but i also cant hear anything else because the wave is off.

Thanks

I'm not sure I understand your question. If you're wanting to shut the music off while the show is playing, then you might as well shut the show off since the lights really don't make much sense without the music.

If you're using an FM transmitter it will broadcast every sound that comes through your sound card regardless of source.

George,

I want to keep the show going but when the shows are running i end up hearing the music on the computer over and over and over .... if i want to view a video or listen to other music i hear the show music as well. i just want to shut it off so i can view/listen other media while the show is running

Doug,

Other than getting a Showtime or MP3 controller to run your show instead of your PC, I don't know of any reasonable way you can do that. If you're tired of hearing the show music you can turn your computer speakers off without affecting the show music. But that's about it. Keep in mind, as KLB also pointed out, that anything you pipe through your computer sound card - game sounds, Windows boinks and doinks, web content, porno flicks - anything/everything that goes through your sound card has been and/or will be transmitted to your front yard superimposed on top of or in place of your show music.

I just found out my neighbors has been wathcing the lights for about a week with no music, he did not have a radio that he could use in his screened room, HE does now, I took him one and he told me it make alot more sense now, to see the lights actually flash to the music.

LOL !:]

You'r neighbors probably thought you were plum nuts!

I live on a highway. My neighbors are cows. I'm positive they don't care. but i still do my lights to music for making the videos to share on the web, and for Friends and Family to drive thru . I also have sequences with fades n chases that i run too.

I'm sure people going by my house think I am nuts too.

I am thinking that possibly the best solution is to just throw the light-o rama on a seperate computer or laptop.

Merry Christmas

Doug

Go to the little speaker in the lower right hand corner of your computer screen better know as the volume mixer. Right click it and open the mixer.LOR Monitor should show up and all you have to do is to mute it.
