doug petschke Posted December 25, 2009 Share Posted December 25, 2009 if your laptop has a 3 prong plug on the power suppy. go to the hardware store and buy a 3 prong to 2 prong adaptor. they are like less then a buck in most cases. plug your laptop in the adaptor then plug it in and see if that fixes the problem. We run into this problem in the Audio Visual fied and this fixes most of the time.what causes the hum is the power supply for the laptops are so cheap now adays I have noticed Dell to bee real bad Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
