Personally, what I do is Christmas lights set to music, not Christmas music set to lights. About half of mine are Christmas tunes - the rest are rock and TV themes. I don't know of anything that's farther from Christmas than Pink Floyd, yet for this year I've done a couple of their numbers - by request I might add - that are gonna blow people's eyeballs right out of their heads. If you're the one doing the work - and it can be a helluva lot of work - make yourself and your family happy first.
