Might be a dumb question but I can't get my Signatures over on PC to come over to here. How easy is it? Thanks.

Are you talking about the box with how many channels and how many lights you have?

If so, go here http://www.planetchristmas.com/signatures/

Fill out the info and click the button the button that says "click here to generate your PlanetChristmas computer control signature.

Text will appear in the box box below the button, then just copy all of the text in the box and paste it into your signature.

Here, I made one just for you. ;)

Zach:
I already have it on the PC site along with the Demented Elf's graphic.
How do I get that over to the LOR site? I tried COPY but when I click in the box of my sig here at the LOR site, PASTE doesn't even show up dark to click on. That is all I figured I needed to do but it won't allow me to PASTE it.

Are you copying everything inside the box from the signature page, the going to "my account" then "profile" and trying to paste it?

I just tried mine and it works normal.

Yep, I went to the preview screen and highlighted everything and it lets me copy. Then I went to the LOR profile signature box and at least paste is dark. But when I click on it nothing shows up under what is already there, which is just "the Clark Griswold of Appleton" I'll keep playing with it.

GOTO "http://forums.planetchristmas.com/"
CLCK "Control Panel"
Click "Edit Signature"
NOTICE "the signature output is above, and the text/code to make it work is below"
COPY "Code/text in the 'edit signature' box(not the 'preview')"
GOTO "http://lightorama.mywowbb.com"
CLICK "My Account"
CLICK "Profile" tab
SCROLL "down"
PASTE "clipboard contents in signature box"
CLICK "Save"

Help?

Daniel:
Still doesn't go. When I go to the sig box in PC and right click-select all, they turn blue. Then I right click again and the cut-copy-paste comes up and I select copy.
When I go to the sig box then on LOR and right click the cut-copy-paste comes up again, of course the paste is darkened and I click on paste. All that happens is the scroll bar slides to the bottom from the top. My sig box over at PC has the actual pictures you generate like Zach did above, there is no lettering. If I click on them individually I get the little white adj boxes around them and that's it. Also note when I do go in the LOR sig box and right click the simple Cut-copy-paste box comes up. There is no clipboard contents.

It still sounds like you are trying to copy the images. You dont want that, you want the code below. Mine is...

Copy the text. Not the output/images.

OK, a start. I actually had to go back and start from scratch at PC and take the printed text. Daniel, yours just showed up as printed text when I tried, no bumper sticker. Any ideas on the demented elf? I tried copy and paste, I also have it in my pictures file but can't import it either. I'm guessing it has to be that same text form? To actually get it on the PC sig I just copy and pasted it from one of the other members per his instruction, but as I said it worked there but not to get it to LOR. Thanks.

Zach:
I'm guessing all three are too many characters. It says a limit of 255 and when I do this and go add in the and at the ends it cuts off after the dat in dateline. Counting that is 239 figures which would leave room for 16 more and the eline=1229456144 adds up to another 22. BTW, where do you find this stuff?
And thanks again.

Let me see if I can add it to my sig and see what happens.

Edit: I tried it in my sig and it did not work either. You were correct, too many characters. So, I don't see how you could add that image. Must be a limitation of this site and not one on the PC site.

How I'm finding this stuff? For the demented elf, I went to PC and right clicked a user pic in his sig and got the the image properties from it. Then just pasted those properties in my reply earlier and put the %7Boption%7D brackets around the URL.

Make sense?
