mcascio
I really liked the metal enclosures from years past.It took quite some time, and many trips to the store, to get the plastic one mounted to some Menard's fence stakes that I'd used for the old enclosures. After finally getting it setup outside I was running my Cat5 into the box and realized there's not enough room to get it up through the bottom. The metal boxes had a nice hole ready to go.While I can get it through the bottom, there's a thick metal piece preventing it from getting all the way to the network interface at the top of the board. Seems like a fairly large oversight unless I'm missing something.I was trying to prevent drilling and caulking since I'm moving things around quite a bit. But it looks like that might be the only option. What have others done?
-klb-
For Halloween, I had two cat5 cables entering through the rubber boot for the power inlet cords, then running in front of the cable clamp, out in front of the bracket holding the cable clamp, and up to the top to be plugged in. Basically just running right up the center. - Kevin
