randallr Posted November 5, 2007 Share Posted November 5, 2007 I've been using the CAT5 standard for straight through cables - normal computer network cables.Orange/White - Orange - Green/White -Blue - Blue/White - Green - Brown/White- Brown.When you look at them, it's stripe-solid-stripe-solid-stripe-solid-stripe-solidComputer networking uses 1,2,3,6Power over Ethernet uses 4,5 and 7,8 for DC.FYIRandall Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
