Hello all, I am planning to get rid of my laptop sony vaio SZ1M/B and get a Ultra Mobile PC. It has the nessesary hardware I/O's for LOR connectivity and runs XP or VISTA and has at least 1GHZ processor and 1GB ram...will this run my LOR Shows?

Thanks

Karl

I've run my shows the last two years (80 & 112 ch) on an old P2, with 128MB ram.

I'm going out on a (sarcastic) limb here and saying you should be just fine.

LOR software really doesn't need much to run. I'm running mine on a 3 year old laptop with a Semptron processor. Slow by today's standards but perfect for doing LOR with lots of speed to spare.

I just got a Sony Vaio pcg-1K1L UMPC. I have used it to test my lights using the hardware utility. I have also ran a short sequence. It should run a complete show just fine. I just cant imaging spending that much money on a UMPC just to run your lights.
