Trimming the first 15 seconds from a song in Audacity

have roughly 15 seconds of dead space at the beginning of a song. How do I trim that?

In Audacity it's really quite simple. Highlight the section of audio you wish to remove, and hit 'delete'.

You would then export the resulting audio to a new MP3 file.

Or you can highlight the area in the song you want to remove and "cut " it from the song... same reult as above..
