Thank you in advance

Lyrics to God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen :

God rest ye merry gentlemen, let nothing you dismay
Remember Christ our Savior was born on Christmas Day
To save us all from Satan's power when we were gone astray
O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
From God our Heavenly Father a blessed angel came
And unto certain shepherds brought tidings of the same
How that in Bethlehem was born the Son of God by name
Joy to the world
For Christ our Lord has finally come
Let every heart receive its new born King
O come all of Heaven and nature sing
God rest ye merry gentlemen, let nothing you dismay
Remember Christ our Savior was born on Christmas Day
To save us all from Satan's power when we were gone astray
O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
From God our Heavenly Father a blessed angel came
And unto certain shepherds brought tidings of the same
How that in Bethlehem was born the Son of God by name
Joy to the world
For Christ our Lord has finally come
Let every heart receive its new born King
O come all of Heaven and nature sing

At 2:10 these two verses are repeated

O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy

When wondering what the words to a song are, I've learned that if you use google the song, it should be the first 5+ results.

Just type in song name, artist name, and then the word lyrics.
ex: "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen MercyMe Lyrics"

Hope that helps,
Brandon H.

Hello,

Thanks.

I know how to find the lyrics but I wanted the lyrics of the choir singing behind (the carol of the bell part in the background).

that's just the standard carol of the bells lyrics they are singing, just google carol of the bells... You will find a similar lyric and beat from the Kenny Rogers version(carol of the bells), and that may help you match up any similar lyrics used
