Flyersc Posted December 26, 2011 Share Posted December 26, 2011 Has anyone sequenced a simulated bowstring horizontally across vertical strings ( like a violin, fiddle, or cello)? With so many violins and cellos in TSO's music, as well as my preference, country music with fiddles, I thought it'd be cool to simulate an instrument being played in giant scale on a 60' pine (mega mega tree)with vertical strings and one horizontal string supported by poles to make it straight.I had an idea to use 4-8 channels with the lights evenly spaced, but am having trouble figuring out how to sequence it to appear like a fluid motion. As for the movements Id bet good money that many here have thier Arches on about the same timing as what would be the stringed instruments.
