I am glad you are doing this because there is room, lots of room for people who are willing to offer sequencing service. I am not sure how many customers you could do in a year but I am sure you will be booked out soon enough just like the others.Now all your customers will be Georgeirites . pixeldigger Posted February 1, 2011 Share Posted February 1, 2011 I hate to be late and uneducated, but during Christmas, and takedown, I don't have much chance to read the forums.I realize from the tone that I must have missed a few things about paying to program sequences, so I did a quick search.I can understand some of the arguments, but one that has me TOTALLY baffled.People start posting links to free sequences that are programmed to go with someones else's display.WHAT does a free sequence have to do with this subject?Why would I want to download a sequence to someone else's display?To work, I would need to either program a sequence for MY display myself, or have someone program it for me.The only thing I can get from someone elses display is maybe their timing grid, but I download some of these to see what was being offered, and they are all just a basic .10 grid with the beats hacked in by occasional skipping a grid.I personally would only put sequences in my show done by me unless I was unable. If tragedy were to befall me or my family, and I wanted the show to go on, the only way I could see is for someone to program it for me.If people are willing to do this fro free then more power to em.
