Weird WARNINGs Converting LOR Sequence to Xlights

I was testing a conversion of a sequence from LOR 3.12.2 to X lights 3.3.1

First conversion showed multiple WARNINGS of MAP TO THE SAME CHANNEL errors

So I went back into LOR and looked at the channels that Xlights pointed out and found No errors of mappings to the same channel.

I then ran the sequence through the Verifier and again found no errors..

I then tried converting again in Xlights and found the same errors.

So back into LOR Exported my channels, started a new music sequence and imported the channels.  

Back to Xlights and converted the New sequence with my channels and music but no lights turning ON.  No errors this time.

Back to LOR and copied the all the rows from the suspect problem sequence and pasted them into the new sequence that I just tested with the imported channels that just had no errors in Xlights

but this time I got less WARNINGS of MAP TO THE SAME CHANNEL errors.

Back to LOR and looked at the channels that Xlights pointed out and the channels were actually Wrong this time.  Looked back in the original file in LOR that I copied and all the channels were good.

So why would the LOR Verifier say all the channels were good and Xlights flag errors.  But after copying all of the rows and exporting the channel configuration then they finally show the problem when I looked manually but verifier again did not find the problem.

At first I thought you were right but I looked in the lms file after I posted and the first couple of warnings that xlights complained about were really wrong but in the sequence editor they showed correctly so xlights was right

While watching my show last Christmas I saw some lights go on/off when they shouldn't in a few songs and when I went into the sequence editor and looked everything looked ok. So I started to doubt what I saw in the yard and thought I had some noise in my signal but now I am questioning things

Dan Kulp wrote the conversion routine, he does browse that forum. He is a HLS user so he never is here on the LOR forums.

I poke around here as well.....

 

Use a newer version of xLights.   Grab the latest 3.6.15 or whatever it is.   There are additional options for the LOR users around not mapping empty channels and such.  Most importantly, it has some additional debug information at the top of the import about what it found in the file.
