Some different servos...

The site calls them digital, but then provides the specs for PWM communication, so they should work with LOR.. The 2 inches per minute is not great, but 12 inch linear range on the big one, and 25 Lbs of force is kind of interesting...

But, of course the price is scary....

Yeah the price is scary but, you do get what you pay for!! That's what I've noticed in doing Halloween stuff. I'd be interested to try one and see how it works...

Could be fun, to be sure!

I am adding 8 servos to my display this year and have probably read more info on then then I care to remember. The difference between digital and analog servos is simple...digital can be programmed, analog cannot. A digital servo has the ability to "remember" positions you program into it. Analog needs to be told what to do.

Servo City is by far the beat/cheapest servo supplier on the net. They have very fast shipping and are very willing to help you. If you are locating to move a lot of weight consider their robot servos. That is what I am using. Through the gear they use the sometimes double or triple the amount of weight a servo can normally move.
