RI_Pilot Posted January 1, 2009 Share Posted January 1, 2009 This is our first year using LOR for our Christmas display. We have about 5000 lights, mostly LEDs, and most of these are the 2008 CDIs. I modified the CDI strings with a resistor on the AC side (before the first module) to protect them during dimming. They have worked great for over 4 weeks running 6 hours a night. 3 LOR PC controllers, two built as kits. The Mega tree is 10 feet total height including the 2 foot star. 16 channels used, each controlling a string of 50 LEDs. The Santa is from WowLights.com.
