FM Transmitters

I need a transmitter for my first show this year. Need some suggestions please. Been looking around on Amazon but alot of the comments mention "legallity issues." Where can I get a good priced one that won't get me in trouble. Thanks.

I have been using one similar to this for four years. Keep it on low power and use an empty freq and you shouldn't have any issues. There are a bunch of brands out there to choose.

Maybe a cable to go from your computer to the transmitter, male 3.5mm to male 3.5mm:

i use the same one, got about 1/4 mile range on a clear night on the lowest setting.

I've seen some variances of that transmitter sold with a telescoping antenna.  IMO, those should be avoided.  The transmitter guts are probably identical, but the rubber-ducky antenna is a better choice.
