jrock_at_rons
I've wanted to animate my Christmas lights for some time now (years) and I finally got up the balls (and resources) to do it this year. After months of research, sequencing, building and 2 weekends of set up, my show finally came to life the Saturday after Thanksgiving. https://vimeo.com/115976271https://vimeo.com/115976268https://vimeo.com/115976269 I just wanted to thank the forum for all the answered questions, helpful hints and encouraging words throughout the past year. Thanks to DGrant, James Morris, 75redman and NSnider for helping with donated sequences. I modified some to fit my display but used a lot more of them to help figure out what I was doing/doing wrong as I learned how to sequence. Special thanks to Mike at Jamestown Lights. Having a local guy to fall back on for questions (and just talking about lights) was a huge help. Any comments or critiques appreciated. jrock_at_rons
Thanks redman. After months of programming, building and setup I was leary of the 'addiction' claims. Needless to say, I spent my lunch hour today adding new props to my visualizer and building out my spreadsheet to see what lights I need to purchase this winter.
