Snow Effect

Hi! Was wondering if anyone knew how to make the ribbons (in tree shape) look like it's snowing? What is the quickest and/or easiest way to achieve that effect?

I did it with lots of tiny white morphs, one for each snow flake. Once you've done 40 or so you can start copy / pasting to continue the fall.
