-klb- Posted October 10, 2010 Share Posted October 10, 2010 I can't remember who recommended it, but I have to say thank you to whoever recommended the Irwin Quick Grip clamps for installing C7/C9 sockets. As long as you get everything lined up right, it is by far the best way I have encountered for installing the sockets. We had volunteers install about an additional 150 sockets this year on existing cord, and the success rate and speed were way up over previous methods last year.
