Terry Hurrle Posted March 28, 2010 Posted March 28, 2010 I set up a show to see how it ran and it plays the first song and no more. I am sure I have done something wrong but can't seem to get it to work . Help please. Thanks
Terry Hurrle Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 No I cleared that. Will have to retry and see what is going on again.
Terry Hurrle Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 After playing around for some time I was able to get a show in the simple show builder to work great. I checked the verifier and found many errors so I looked at them all and found that I had the weekly and yearly calendar conflicting. I guess when I was trying to get one working I had both in my files. I deleted them and got it working. I like the ease of using the simple builder but I am not sure if it works to have different shows each day or like three shows alternating days. Have many months to play with it. Can you delete the log in the verifier?
bob Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 The Verifier's messages aren't saved to the next run - it generates them all each time you click "Verify".If there are any that it generates that you are satisfied are not really problems, you can right-click on them and select "Ignore this message" (or, more generally, "Ignore all messages with message number such-and-such"). They won't be displayed to you again when you click "Verify".They will still be available to you in the "Ignored" tab, in case you change your mind about them. And you can right click on them there and tell the Verifier to stop ignoring them, so that they will again be displayed in the standard list when you click "Verify" thereafter.
Terry Hurrle Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 Bob,Thanks. I had a number of errors in the verifier. I am sure they were there due to mistakes I had made trying to set up a show for the first time. With the advice of other members I looked at the verifier and was able to figure out the problem. I will continue to play with the show editor and scheduler in the next months to get a better feel of it so I can get my show up and running when the season arrives.ThanksTerry
