M. Brooker Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Hi all, if this is a dumb question, I apologize....... but here goes.......is it possible to have the beat track in more than one place? What I mean is can you copy it and place it in different places, like every 8 channels, have the beat track so it is easily seen while sequencing.........Being a newbie is frustratingThanks in advance for any help
Donny M. Carter Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 just click on a channel when you open a sequence and it will give you the option to put a channel above or below.Sorry, you have to right click on a channel..
M. Brooker Posted February 23, 2010 Author Posted February 23, 2010 Yes I done that, but my beat track is at the very bottom.....is it possible to have multiple beat tracks?I guess my question is how to see the beat track while sequencing channels at the top of the list when you can`t see the beat track.........If I can add multiple copies of the beat track say every 6 or 8 channels, I will be able to see it as I sequence, I`m sequencing 48 channels.......Thanks for the help
Guest Don Gillespie Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 You can put a beat track anywhere you want just don't get confused when you are sequencing by using the beat track as a channel, your show won't be as you expected
George Simmons Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 You can move a channel anywhere you want within a track. Left-click and hold on the channel's name and then move it up or down as you want. Something else to check is the zoom setting. Go to: VIEW > ZOOM ROWS > OUT and you can reduce the row height and make more channels visible on the screen. Once you have the settings you want, then go to: PREFERENCES > ZOOM PREFERENCES > SAVE ZOOM PREFERENCES and from then on each time you open a sequence those same zoom settings will be in effect.
M. Brooker Posted February 23, 2010 Author Posted February 23, 2010 That is it! That is what I wanted..........Thanks a million......I`m sure before this thing is over, I will have tones more questions.....Thanks again.
