wallleyes Posted February 20, 2010 Share Posted February 20, 2010 Managed to get my sign made today.The website is still in the making.The website seems to be more of a challenge and less fun then making decorations.I think it about drives a guy nuts waiting for the lor spring sale.The letters and numbers are 3 inch self adhesive purchased at wally world.Might just leave them on as they look pretty good when i turn on the 35 c6 led lights.The sign is 22x34 inches.I welcome any questions or comments,good or bad. csf Posted February 23, 2010 Share Posted February 23, 2010 I have been having some strange wifi issues lately, I think it has some thing to do with that.I can have my laptop in one place works fine for hours. stops working more it over a few inches and it works again. Or in your own house, there might be a cordless phone operating on the 2.4 Ghz frequency range? Sure home wireless systems along with cordless phones are suppose to be short range. In built up metro areas the RF noise is rising and causing more and more interference. Also I would have to ask if you have anything like a refrigerator or heating and cooling ducts between you and your access point for your home WiFi.Sorry, I also frequent a shooting forum and well the running joke when that happens over there is that so and so was practicing their double taps.As you where or as I was..... csf Posted February 26, 2010 Share Posted February 26, 2010 It is a residential area and I know there is quite a it of other wifi users, cause i had to change my settings not to long ago cause some one set up a open network with the same name and that was causing me all types of issues.I do have cordless phones in the house but the bass station of the phone and the router are on two separate floors on opposite ends of the house. (not sure what the phone frequency is on, but there are both about a year old, do they normally use the same frequency?)There is a refrigerator in the kitchen but I would think if that was the issue I would have wifi issues in there which i don't.No air condition ducts.It's strange I have yet to notice any patten in when it works and does not work.
