How Do You Get Timings In All Tracks?

I am creating a new musical sequence and I click on "Use A Saved Channel Configuration Template" and I am using the "Beat Wizard".

The template I am using is divided into 7 tracks.

After I am done with the "Beat Wizard" and apply the timings, they only show up in the first track.

Is there any way to get them into all the tracks??

First question: Have you done a complete channel assignment & saved it to a file?

If you have then on then when you open the "New Musical Sequence Option" Where it says "Use saved channel configuration" click that & then click the box to the right to find your saved configuration click it & you should be good to go.

Now if you have not done a complete channel assignment then you need to do that first & export it to a file to be saved. Then every time you start a new sequence you can import the same configuration.
Here is a link to the Light-o Rama tutorials this will help also.

I hope this helps & is not to confusing.

Well..then I am confused, because I have assigned all 480 channels into 7 different tracks and saved it...but when I use that saved configuration to create a new sequence only the first track gets any timings put into it.

Hi Jim

I'm at work now --- later I will post the steps to do what you are asking

I use 15 tracks and experienced the same thing

Can't remember exact steps but

renamed first track with timing in it --- I know i named the track the same

as the song

then stepped to the next track and copied the name of the first track

to the second and the timings went with it

I am not sure if that is exactly the steps or not

when I get home if you have not posted again I will step

by step document for you.

Never mind...figured it out.

Just had to "Change Timing Grid Name" for Track1 under Edit - Timings.

Then in the other tracks, using the pull down menu in the Timings, select the Timing I had just re-named (if I wanted it to be the same timing).

EDIT:

I MUST be getting senile because I think I asked a similar question a few weeks ago... **sigh**
