Ok, I have the CTB-08 & CTB-16D. I know that on the ctb-08 their is a jumper to start the standalone sequence. But I noticed that on the ctb-16D that their is no jumper, just a speed switch. So how does it start? i am guessing that it is somthing in the hardware utility. If their is a sequence in the memory and it is playing, what will it do if the computer tries to play a show?

You don't want to have a preloaded, animation sequence in the memory of a CTB-16D, and try to start a musical sequence from the computer. The results will be unpredictable, at best.
