Help, I can't get lights to play (resolved)

Hello,

I know this must be real simple. I have been reading, checking help and trying different things to get my lights to come on.

I have a 16 channel controller. I tested the lights and they all came on. I made a simple sequence and they ran perfectly.

I sequenced about 25 seconds of Jingle Bells and hit play from the Sequence editor, nothing. The control lights is checked.

Jingle Bells was ripped as a wav file from Exact Audio.

Please help me.

Did you go through and assign the lights to the controller? Because I think you have to do that first before it will "control" the lights.

I checked control lights, is there something else to assign the lights?

By defaut the channels are not assigned to any LOR controllers.

You need to Right Click on the first one (be default it will give the name of "Channel 1") and click on "Change Channel Settings" - You then need to change it to LOR controller with the Unit and Circuit Number.

That was it, I did that on the sequence, but forgot on the musical sequence.

Yeah.. thats what I was trying to say.. I'm glad you got it to work!

Export your channel configuration and Import it into new sequences. Much quicker to setup. ( Edit->Export Channel Con... )
