tonan
I just built my first CTB-16D but can't find the cable pinout for the RS485 connectors. I'm using a COMTROL MasterAir wireless ethernet to Rs485 converter and its 485 comes out on a 9pin Dsub so I need to know which pins on my ctb-16 are Tx/Rx+ and Tx/Rx-. Can anyone tell me where I can find that information? It's not in my user manual or the assembly manual. Thanks.

Steve Constantino
I have done it before but I could not get the rs485 to work even with the right pin out. What I had to do is use a Ethernet to rs232 converter ( http://www.perle.com/products/IOLAN-DS-Terminal-Server.shtml ) Then pluged the LOR rs232 to rs485 converter ( http://store.lightorama.com/scseco.html ) into that. The Ethernet to rs232 converter plugs into my wireless router, on my PC it shows up as a normal com port.Steve

tonan
Found it in the hardware forum, "what is the pinout of the RS485 connector on a LOR?" pin 4 is TxRx+ and pin 5 is TxRx-. The COMTROL MasterAir is now working flawlessly through my wireless ethernet access port. Thanks.
