Grant's Christmas Lights 2009 - Highbury, Sth. Australia

Recommended Posts

Hello Everyone,

My Christmas Lights display is complete for another year (well almost - it's always the way that things dont quite get finished :-).

147 channels (mix of 240VAC/24VDC/36VDC), ~20,000 lights and ~3.5km of wire. The peak power load is a shade over 4kilowatts.

I have now posted my videos for this year. They can be seen here:

http://www.vimeo.com/8025799 - Wizards in Winter
http://www.vimeo.com/8025478 - Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree
http://www.vimeo.com/8291448 - O Holy Night
http://www.vimeo.com/8051364 - Santa Claus is Coming to Town
http://www.vimeo.com/8051127 - All I Want For Christmas
http://www.vimeo.com/8050850 - Carol of the Bells
http://www.vimeo.com/8051661 - First Snow

My website is http://christmas.darkeyrie.net/ where I have photos and construction details posted as well.

This marks my second year with LOR and 4th year with Christmas Lights and again time and budget constraints overwhelmed ambition. Well, there is always next year :-)

I hope you enjoy my display.

If it makes you feel any better that's not something limited to you folks down under - it afffects quite a few of us folks up over also. Your display looks excellent! Merry Christmas.
