Last year I bought zip cord when copper was under $4,000 per ton (I think it was around $3,500). Right now it is over $7,000 per ton. That is the driving cost for zip cord. There are going to be a lot of people in shock next season!!!!
Nova5
Being a builder I am shockproof to such things.. I see it every day and it has just gotten to the point I can't spare the time to stress over it.
Robin
You think it is expensive now just wait if they pass Cap and Trade. No more mini lights, PERIOD. Plus the tax on all the stuff will cause prices to soar.
RaceMedic
Another newbie question .... sorry .....From the pre-sale listing ... how do we know if they are dimmable or not ?!For mini arches being done with LEDs ... what size bulbs would one suggest ?5mm ?! Robin
I am not positive but I believe all of Paul's LEDs can dim.

I would not use that bulb and try to dim it.

JeffF
Last year was my first pre-order with CDI and I had to phone in my order. This year all I had to do was email it since they already had all my information.-Jeff

dharker
Anyone have any experience with the shipping costs- are they reasonable ? ?I tried a sample order of just 6 cases of lights to NJ and it was just shy of $150 to ship ! ! ! That's really, really high based on all the other things I buy online- tires, Plasmas, furniture etc... ?

I think the website shipping calulator is off, as I've never been charged the shipping it showed, always LESS!Paul will only charge the shipping based on the UPS rates in effect at the time of shipping. I no longer pay any attention to the shipping calculator on his site.
