navykidd02
Hello,I came home to a horrible sight. Well for me it is cause I am a noob. I had a channel stuck on and the rest of the show not even running. Upon further inspection I found that the control pannel could not start the show due to some audio error. I restarted the computer. BUT while the computer was restarting that dang channel was still on. I was able to get the show running but the channel was still stuck on at about 50-75% The channel is very important and I have no where to move it. It is a 300 count Red Minis of one of my mini trees. I unplugged it show it would be an eye sore during the show but I already tried toRestart the computerUnplug and Replug the networkThing is working. Any Ideas. I refuse to believe it is a Triac. I dont want to believe it if it is.

navykidd02
Yeah yours is the post I was reading. I will look into your questions and get back to you. The crazy thing is, one morning I was leaving to go to work and out of the corner of my eye I saw all four of my snowflakes light up and shimmer then turn off, Now they are all on different channels. Then two days later the channel that is now stuck was on i fixed it by disabling the show and restarting it. It was all good. BUT NOW it is stuck on about 75%. Hmm im gonna play with it some. Wish me luck.
bhays
I gave up on my haunted channel and moved it over to a spare on another controller. Problem is, I still don't know if that controller has something wrong with it and needs to be sent in for repair or not. Frustrating. :X
cmoore60
What adapter are you using? If using one of the USB adapters. Are you using the cable with the filters (ferrite beads) ?Chuck
TitusCarnathan
you want to restart your controllerif it is a ctp16pc power down pull the jumper pin power it up power down and put the pin back in and see if that worksalso see if it is not a communication problem if you are using an ELL make sure the settings are the same and try diffrent power levels I had a similar problem last year I did both steps and it work again

Max-Paul
Navykid, not talking about what cable you have between the adapter and controller. But what cable do you have between computer and adapter. Presuming you are using the USB adapter.

Max-Paul
How long is the cable between the SC485 adapter and your first controller?this is important. I dont have this set-up myself. But I THINK that you can only have about 50 feet of cable between the SC-485 and the controller.
