Bruce Kryfka
This problem was noted yesterday but was not a problem today its worse. I normally start my computer up in the morning. I hit control panel to get my blue light going and then I turn the controllers on and get them going. Sometimes the show are automatically enabled other times I have to enable them. Today was just like normal the show started at 5:00 as usual. Later that day I looked outside and no lights. Went to the garage and checked the controllers and was greeted by two blinking red lights. Checked the computer and the show was still enabled but still no lights. Well I started a shutdown procedure disable shows, close menu, Turn off controllers, then shutdown computer. The computer won't reset so I do a hard reboot and restart the system. I do my system start up and get the show going again. Well another 1 hr or so I look at the lights no lights . Ant the controllers are flashing again. Another shut down and start up procedure. Up and running again and sometime later its down again. I gave up for the night. Any suggestions for tomorrow night.Bruce
-klb-
If you are using the USB adapter, do you have the filtered USB cable? One way that might clarify if this is the issue, when the show is stopped like that, try unplugging the USB cable, and plugging it back in.Some electrical devices make enough noise to knock out the USB link between the PC and the USB adapter. The filtered cable usually takes care of it. Unplugging and plugging it back in also usually clears the condition, and lets things work again.
