Guest Don Gillespie
Good Idea what I did was unpluged the controller then I removed the the fuse holder from the frame carefully then with the right size drill bit held in my hand NOT IN A DRILL I inserted the drill bit into the metal part of the fuse that was stuck down in the fuse holder and gently turned the bit with my hand untill it caught the metal fuse and then pulled it out, worked really well make sure you have the right size bit 3/8s worked for me after the clean out I put everything back together pluged everything in reset the hardware utility and presto show is back on track. If this happens to anyone else I will certainly be available to help you through this

Guest Don Gillespie
dtp2435 wrote: Don,I am using the lightorama controller LOR1602W.ThanksDannyDanny first unplug your controller from any power source then you know how to open the front face of the controller when you have that opened there will be two black screw tops that hold the fuses in place just gently turn the black top untill it opens when you remove the top the fuse will come with you you will need a ceramic fuse to replace it with they are fast acting fuses they will look white in color (at least thats what they look like in Canada) insert the new fuse and then you can plug in the controller to make sure the red lights are active on the controller (should be blinking ) if they are you are good to go if you blow the fuse again you will want to redo fuse agian and then check the amps on each channel and make sure you are not overloaded an amp meter works well here hope everything works well make sure you unplug your controller from any power source before doing thisMake sure to reset the hardware utility
dtp2435
Don,I unplugged all the cable that connected to the fuse, removed the black plastic screw and removed the whole fuse out of the frame. Now comes the part which I do not understand. How do you take out the fuse from holder?ThanksDanny
