bubba reed
I set up my show and put the card in the MP3 player and the show starts at the wrong time. We ran the cable to the MP3 player and set the time, but it apparently has a mind of its own and runs when it wants to. Then we have random lights coming on when its not programmed to come on. I've checked the songs and the lights are indeed coming on when they are not programmed to do so.I have ribbon lights and when I plug them in all the controllers can not be found on the program.Does anyone have an advice or know how to fix this? Don
I think first you should run the LOR Verifier program, to make sure you don't have channels assigned twice, etc. That might explain them coming on when they are not supposed to.Since it's not possible to read the configuration once place on the SD card, your best bet is to create a very simple show, for example 6:00-10:00 with one song, and see if it plays correctly.Be sure when you write the show to SD card you include the "Lockstep" option.(And of course, just double check the time on the MP3 player before you start again.) (Page 15 covers in more detail.)

Don
I would probably reading up on how to create a show using the MP3 tab of the Hardware Utility, and double checking the time of the MP3 Director.
