Guest guest
Hi all i was wondering how you made your holes for your female plugs for your LOR, I am thinking about a plastic stoage box as the enclosure with a black plastic bag over it to ensure water from staying out. What are you thoughts? How did you do it? Thanks in Advance
Guest guest
That's exactly what I've done the past couple of years, and haven't had any problems. I just found a drill bit that was at least as wide as the cord going into the box (not the plug, the cord). I drilled it through, and then poked the cord in through the hole. Real easy. I wanted to waterproof it, but I'm too lazy, so I did the bag trick, and it works fine. And we've had wet seasons both of the past two years that I've used LOR, too. This may not be the most recommended way, but it works for me, so far.
