It has Begun

wwell - my show has been on since Sunday and so far so good with the exception of 1 little GFI Tripping Glitch that I figured out today (Had a ext cord with a triple female end wrapped around my tree and the openings were facing up and filled with water)

Just wondering what you guys do to take precautions of GFI tripping when it rains (Any tips)

Show has only been on a couple of days and i was already contacted by a news channel who is interested in doing a feature on my display!

My front lawn is sloped so I don’t have to worry too much about puddles, just direct rain. That being said, I cut black pvc 1-1/2” pipe into 3” sectionts to slip over the plugs. I started this last year and have not had a gfi issue since.

First show was Thanksgiving evening for me...but just got a nice write up in the local "West Seattle Blog"....by the looks of some of the replies in the "comments" section, looks like the crowds will start arriving tonight!!! Can't wait!!! LOL

You might consider moving someplace where the rain comes down already frozen.

LOL thanks George - too much work ... then I would have to pack up all my lights - I'm not worried about clothes and furniture - just the amount of decorations
