hattereno
Two of my controllers are not turning on the lights. They are wired together. The red light is solid, so they are communicating with my PC. The hardware utility recognizes them. But I can't turn any lights on. It worked last night, but because I forgot to assign them unique numbers they were working at the same time as one of my other controllers. Now I've got them assigned and everything seems correct - no lights. Help!
Randy
Sounds like you may have to assign the channels in your sequence to the controllers (Tools pulldown menu, Channel Property Grid)...You can make a master configuration file with the assignments and then export it so that you can import it to other sequences.....I hope that helps....Randy
Don
On the CTB-16D/Showtime boards, make sure you power cycle the controllers. They only read their ID on start up.I would suggest running the verifier tool as it can sometimes give you valuable insight as to what may have been missed. hattereno
Thanks Randy. I'm not even at that stage yet. I'm trying to test the controllers in the hardware utility. This is where I can't get the lights to work. Any other thoughts?
jimswinder
For me...I always forget the little On/Off Radio buttons on the right hand side...
hattereno
Their ID was picked up. All 4 of my controllers have been found. I can test the lights on two of them, but not on my two CTB16Ds.Where is this verifier tool located?
