Animation Delay

Good Morning Everyone, I know someone brought it up not too long ago but I created a musical sequence and and animation to go with it. When I play the sequence to see how it looks with the animation on, the timing bar and animation lag more tha it should but the music and lights keep moving. I'm wondering if it is a computer memory problem, or anything of that sort.

I is hard to say what it is. Generally if the display is lagging the lights also lag when using the sequence editor.

Check to see if you get better performance with the animation closed. Then do things like display fades as ramps and try different Hardware Acceleration levels on the video driver.

And also keep in mind that when you run the show for real, you will not be using the sequence editor. You'll be using the show and schedule editor, which do not use a significant amount of memory.
