Joe Noe
Well, thought I'd go ahead and post that our video is up. I'm going to redo them all after we get some snow on the ground and at 115k network speed to get rid of some lag. (see Music Box Dancer at 1:30 to 1:45...watch the reindeer wig out...this doesn't happen on fastest network speed but I have to go middle because of neighbors house connected via ELL's)Thankshttp://www.crookschristmas.com/Media.php

Joe Noe
Camcorder is a Cannon HG20 (I think) It's a high-def one I bought last year. I think I set the saturation a bit low on this filming as it doesn't capture the brightness very well. I'll back that down a notch or two next time I film. Joe Noe
Thank you for the compliments! I'm sorry, but I don't believe in the sequence swapping thing. However there are many who do, so there should be ample supply available. Have you tried lorsequences.com?

Joe Noe
Hi Edge-The stick fans are 5' for each stick. Counting the base mount in the middle, the whole thing ends up being about 12' across.Dan-Thanks for the compliment on the charity. We were fortunate enough to raise almost $23,000 this year, even with the big 2 day christmas blizzard. That brings our 4 year total to $96,000! I really was hoping to make that $100K mark, and I think we would have done it had it not been for the weather. Oh well, there's always next year, right?Lots of good displays out there this year folks... Keep up the good work!
edge
Hey Joe, yeah , I can appreciate the snow storm over Christmas. I am in northern Minnesota and we got the snow and the cold! It was -37 below plus add the wind. Bone chilling. What is the best way to mount the sticks? If the sticks are 5' each x 12' wide, please share how you constructed them. I thank you in advance for your assistance. Cordially, Edge
Joe Noe
They are just 5' sticks of PVC that I slide into a base with receiving pipes at different angles. I'd take a picture, but you'd just get a snowbank so you'll have to wait until spring!
NWSanta
Joe,Your display is right up there with Richard Holdman's Display. It's absolutely amazing. Great scheme and amazing props.Congrats on your fundraising Joe, such a wonderful thing your doing. Feels good to fund raise, this is only our second year but, we've raised over $7000 over the last 2 years. Not nearly as much as yours but, your display is huge compared to mine.Congrats and can't wait to see what you come up with next!!!-Evan
