Beaver
Inside one of my LOR1602W there are two unit id dials, one is set to #0 and the other to #1. Does it matter which dial ID is set to #1? Should both be set to #1? I have two LOR1602W and I set the second ones dial to #2 (the other dial is at #0) and the Hardware Configurer only can see 1 unit however both units run the Test. Thanks! bisquit476
Looking at the board, in your configuration, the left dial will be on zero, and the right one will be on 1 or 2. Only reason to use anything other than zero on the left dial is if you have above a certain number of boards. Try to use the hardware utility on the units seperately to see if both boards are recognized individually.
Beaver
Ah, ok. I will verify my ID settings so the first dial is at #0, thanks for clearing that up for me. In the morning I will try to do just the one controller by itself to see if the Hardware Configurator recognizes it. Thanks for your help and I will post my results! Beaver
I verified my ID settings and they were correct. Since we decided to run the Hardware utility on the unit that wasn't being recognized I changed it's ID to #1 and the one that was recognized to #2. I ran the Hardware Configurator and now it can see both units individually. Thank you very much for your help!
