Don
How are you testing?Through the Sequence Editor? Did you remember to select "Control Lights" from the Play menu? (And if you are testing through the SE, did you shut down the Hardware Utility first?)Or are you creating shows, setting the schedule, and the lights are not turning on? Don
Since the HWU isn't what will run the shows for you, it's not the best thing to test with.Try closing the HWU, and opening up a sequence. Be sure to select Control Lights from the play menu, and play the sequence. The HWU found the 11 controllers, that's a good sign. No need to check each channel, just run the sequence and see what happens.
chowell
should i hurry and upgrade versions while I'm at it?
Don
Only if the version you are running doesn't work. You tested the lights through the sequence editor already? Did they work?

chowell
Also, all the versions show 4.01. Is that the firmware and is that correct still for the 1602W?

Is that the firmware and is that correct still for the 1602W?If you intend to use the fading shimmer/twinkle, you will need to upgrade to at least 4.30. 4.3 is on the LOR website ... some people have a 4.32 on their computer, which installed with the LOR software. If you are not using the fading twinkle/shimmer, you can most likely skip the upgrade process until the end of the season. No need to add more complications at this stage.
chowell
OK, just did a short test on two different sequences using the sequence editor and they both started up. I wonder why the HWU is not working. I like to use that feature. I will give the show a full run here shortly. Thank you for your help thus far.Corey
