Blue)(Fusion
Hey folks,Got a question. I bought my dad a 16 channel LOR controller last December to use this coming Christmas. Last year we ran it for a little while with some simple programming we played with and it worked fine. It has been sitting safely in a closet since.I brought it out for testing today as we are rigging up the lights tomorrow and Friday. I don't recall if this is normal operation, but if I plug in the power cord from the 1-8 channel side, the LOR does not work. If I plug in the cord for the 9-16 channel side, the LOR light blinks as expected and works normally. The power is drawn through both cords as expected and fuses are both functioning when I control the lights. I'm just not sure if this is normal for the circuit board to not function without 9-16 channel cable plugged in. I thought I remember differently. It's not of huge importance since I will be using both cords and all channels anyway, just want to know what you guys think. DavidPeterson
This is normal, the board is powered by the 9-16 side. You don't have to use those channels, but that side does need power.
