Denise York
Newbie just getting lights out and everything hooked up. I've skimmed the how to's but just want to know how to keep the lights on without playing a sequence? I know it's probably something simple I'm missing.thanks
Darryl Lambert
Use your hardware utility. There you will be able to control anything connected to the network.Darryl
Brian Mitchell
Are you talking about keeping lights on in between musical sequences or shows?
Denise York
Yes, I am talking about keeping lights on between shows. Is this still controlled in the Hardware utility?I appreciate the help.
Brian Mitchell
The simplest way.You will need to write an animation sequence with your lights on and insert it between your musical sequences.Hint: You can put an animation sequence in the musical tab. RobDaddy
If you go into the hardware utility you can turn on all of your lights but only the ones connected to the selected hardware. I have four controllers and I wish there was a way to turn all four controllers on at once.
Darryl Lambert
Denice sorry I misunderstood your initial Question. RobDaddy wrote: I wish there was a way to turn all four controllers on at once. There is! In the hardware utility if you select all on for unit #1 then go to unit #2 and turn them on as long as you haven't turned off unit #1 both controllers will be on.At least that's how I've been doing it.Darryl
beeiilll
Check out this thread and see if this helps.http://lightorama.mywowbb.com/forum74/20401.htmlI am running some items as static in my display this year since I will not have time to get them into my sequences and want to run them as "always on" during the show for now.I plan to redo my sequences as soon as I get everything set up so that the elements will "flashy-blinky" with the music , but for now this will get me running and it seems like a way to have things on whenever the show is running. John
You could build your animation sequence short and use a "loop" to get the desired time. For instance... make a 5 minute animation sequence and loop it 2 times for 15 minutes of lights. ( 5 for the original time through + 5 + 5 for the two loops )
