rangebob
I have one of my controllers up on the roof and it was working when I tested the lights the other night. Today I'm attempting to connect to it again and it isn't found. I have singled the controller out and I'm connected directly to it with nothing else attached. Before I crawled up to the roof I did connect from the ground and I was able to see all of teh other controllers so I know the USB adaptor and equipment is working properly. I am attempting to update the firmware since I can't even find the controller with no success either. What else can I try to get this connected and working?ThanksBob
Anthony in Houston
Make sure power is on and red led flashing without network cable connected. Then connect cable and see what the led is doing, then do a refresh in the HW utility.Anthony
rangebob
Did all of that. I did unplug it and then re-plugged it and the led keeps blinking with and without the network attached.
-klb-
Try resetting the controller, unplug power, remove the jumper on the second row of pins, power up, for a few seconds, remove power, replace the jumper on the second row of pins. Then try again. If still no steady LED, try a different cable..After that, the com chip may be bad....
rangebob
I'll give that a try tomorrow when I have light. It is too dangerous to get up there now.
