TheBigE
I have seen some varying numbers, but would like to know how many computers I can have my LOR S2 software installed? I am running the basic version, and will run it off a computer in the basement. I would like to build the sequence on my Mac (24" screen running parallels) and continue to work on the sequence on my Laptop over Thanksgiving when I am at the inlaws. So in the end I would need it installed in three computers.I thought I read you could only have it installed on 2 computers, but also saw that a given license have 5 seats. I prefer not to install and re install. ThanksErik
iresq
I know the advanced license gives you 5 seats. Not sure on the basic. I quickly looked at the LOR site and it really does not say (that I could find).
jim6918
I believe that you are allowed 5 installs with the current licensing scheme, which is incredibly fair in my experience. Most software vendors allow just 2 DL's.Additionally, I am told that LOR also will work with you by resetting the DL limit should you screw up, or if you have hardware problems. Just another exaple of what a great company they are.Like you, I do all of the grunt work on a high end, super powerful desktop, and transfer all files over to a dedicated show laptop. You will learn this as you go along, just make sure that your directory structure is the same between systems. It will save you a lot of time hunting for files later. Also, back up, back up, back up. bob
It's five, regardless of the license level.
