Ponddude
This has been bought up several times on these boards, but now I am going to have my turn. Several people have posted about purchasing a daughter card for their DIO board and receiving it with solder points missing. While I am not using any of the relay cards this year, I am using a lot of inputs and needed the connecter card. Now this card has a total of 9 pieces. 8 components and 1 PCB. I have said this over and over again, but these cards really should be for the DIY community; meaning send us everything and we will solder them ourselves. I just received my board and it was missing 4 solder points. What was really shocking was that they are the biggest solder points on the board! I had to wait 3 weeks for a card that I could have soldered myself, made sure all the points were soldered correctly and have the card operational. Now, I have to take the time to fix the missing solder points. All of this could have been avoided and I could have had the board 3 weeks ago, if you just make these boards a DIY component. To make things even better, do what you do with the PC series card, give the option to have them preassembled or just the components.A picture for your viewing pleasure is attached and my rank is over! Donald Puryear
How are you hooking up your inputs? I have the same card. According to the instructions you have to add a 4.7k resister to pull down the circuit. From what I understand you need +5,-5, and the input connection. I Had to make my own input board, used the term. board for outputs only.:?:?:?
