John horton
My old computer crashed and i had to get a new one. I had all my light shows saved on a back up Cd's so i didn't lose them. However now it says it can't find the media files. Unfortunately i didn't have any of the music on my old computer backed up to a disk so does that mean that i'm screwed and will need to find and down load all of them again. If that is the case I think LOR needs to change that so the media file is saved with the seq. file. I couldn't believe it when i went to play the seq. and that file was missing i thought i had my butt cover by saving them to disk.
zman
John,If you did not save the audio directory along with the sequence directory, then yes, you will need to get the songs again somehow. Since I have used LOR for 5-6 years now, it has always been known that there were 2 separate directories. There most likely is some sort of copyright issue that does not allow the 2 to be merged. Brian Mitchell
And once again, we are all reminded why it is so important to backup our files.I think I will go backup my folder right now because I haven't in the last 3 months.
zman
While I am in heavy editing mode as I am now, I not only back up on my sequence machine, but take a daily back up onto an external HDD.Did you buy the songs? What are the titles? Those of us with large song libraries may be able to help you out to recover you material.
