Guest guest
I purchased the new MP3 16 channel controller and I was wondering if anyone has connected it and tried it out. I finished my first sequence last night and I'm not clear on how to download the sequence and create a show. I read through the manual but have not been able to nail it down. I can acess the controller through the hardware utility but I would like to create a show? Any help would be great. Thanks, Bill
Guest guest
I ran the MP3 last year--great unit.1. build your sequence like usual.2. Convert the music to MP3 format-if you were using WAV3. In the "new" hardware editor the will be a MP3 tab-open this4. Build your show in the Showlist window5. Attach the SD card burner and click the "Setup files for Memory card"6. Remove the SD card and insert the it in the MP3 player7. Turn on power and your show should begin--any interrupt in power causes the show to restart at the first sequence. Guest guest
Thanks Bill for th einfo - I will try that. Would that be the standalone mode or a scheduled event mode?

My understanding is that "Setup files for Memory card" merely creates the files necessary for the show in a folder named "MP3show" in the L-O-R folder on your PC. These files then have to be copied to the SD memory card using, as you say, the "SD burner" and Window$ Explorer etc. Then on to your step 6.And Bill Jr, the MP3 show director is a standalone unit. You do NOT download these files to the CTB16D (or whatever) controller.Martin
