ItsMeBobO Posted October 20, 2009 Share Posted October 20, 2009 Its much smaller than I expected. Very flexible and supple. Comes wrapped very tight in a small diameter. I think smaller than the 3" diameter pole noted in the manual. I noticed that my ribbon has a 'join' where two sections are soldered together with four wires inside the cover. A very good seam as far as I can tell, as strong as the rest of it.Lights are plenty bright enough. Colors mix very well. Looks much better than the videos which have trouble capturing the detail. No rainbow effect has been observed.Programming responds FAST. I was afraid with so many channels it couldnt keep up, but it did great with a manual 50 channel color changing sweep.Surprises. Somehow I thought the resolution setting from SE would stick. Once set it stays that way. I was wrong on that, you have to have 50 in resolution for duration of manual sweep or anything for that matter.Overall I am impressed. I want 10 more but my numbers havent hit yet.
